Thats my first choice too, but I tend to take issue more with Marvin Lewis than I do Dalton.

Dalton may not be the shiny Mercedes everyone wishes for, but he's no Buick either. Guy can play.

Dalton is 0-3 in the playoffs, but Lewis is 0-5

I respect your opinion here, but I recommend you read these two articles. I think you're wrong and these argue my side of the issue better than I can.

Im well aware of Dalton's playoff shortcomings, but like the 2nd article points out, the kid has improved every year.

Let's not forget Peyton Manning aka the best QB of his time was also 0-3 in his first 3 playoff games.

Again, not in love with Dalton, but he is better than what we are currently dealing with. And Im not striving for average either, but average is better than what we've seen out of our QB's lately.

Locker is better than Dalton. Dalton has much better talent and coaching around him.

    Locker should be better, yes.

But til he shows it, Dalton over Locker.

He is better. Dalton is just spoiled with good people around him.

I think Locker is better too, but in 4 week increments.

Which sucks seeing as the season is 17 weeks long.

That playoff hooey about Dalton is so overblown and those articles don't prove anything.
Gruden hanged Dalton out to dry two years in a row in the playoffs. Where in the article does it point out that the receivers never got open and the OL broke down because Gruden wouldn't commit to the run? We know what kind of mess that scenario leads to.

Here's one that paints an entirely different picture: http://www.sbnation.com/nfl/2013/12/29/5253996/andy-dalton-bengals-franchise-record
Dalton is rewriting all of the Bengals QB marks and they've had some decent passers over the years..
I have to LOL when folks say Locker is better. Based on what - Optimism?
    You guys are funny..

Locker could be better, he has more physical tools. But he's not better because he can't stay healthy.
