Yea but no way Niners let him go, Dalton could and should be on our radar if Jake fails in 2014.

Talk about a guy that chokes in the playoffs pull Dalton's stats! He has one of the best wr in the game and he targeted him 3 times in the playoff game. Had he gone to a bad team he would be out of the league, no thanks to dalton

Since you quoted me in your response, I'll respond to you.

Not sure where you think I said Dalton is a scrub. I never said that. I don't think that. Don't put words in my mouth.

I think he's a slightly below-average QB in the NFL and unlikely to ever be anything more. He is good enough to keep your team treading water for 5-10 years but not good enough to win a playoff game. He's like Matt Schaub at his peak - good, but not good enough.

I said he is the exact wrong kind of QB to invest in. I said the Titans should aim much higher than that.

They should, but who's that guy going to be? One of next years rookies?

Welp - your post was a response to the question "How exactly is Dalton a scrub?"
You even quoted my question in your response.
No Dalton is not perfect and he's not Rodgers or CK - but he's not a scrub and is not the utter failure that so many like to pin on him.
He is in fact better than any Titans QB since McNair.

    You answer your own question.
He targeted AJ three times because he was NEVER open. Blame this on Gruden. The receivers were choked and the OL was worn down. Dalton was stranded.

What strikes me as interesting is that Dalton has done in Cincinnati what Luck has done in Indianapolis... but with better stats and a FAAAAAR superior division.

    Just sayin'

    Yes.

I would take any of Winston, Mariota or Hundley over Dalton 100/100 times. Those three guys are miles ahead of Dalton in terms of upside.

If Locker fails, that's what the Titans will likely do. I think there's essentially zero chance this team gives Dalton a huge contract.

    Absurdly confident. LOL
This team knows all about upside. Maybe we should draft Chris Henry again..
