Would likely just be a backup and potentially compete with Levitre for LG. Still, i'd love the signing.

Agreed with Childress and cdubbs on getting Wisniewski. Would instantly upgrade OL. However, I'll bet he signs with SEA, who will probably overpay if need be after trading Unger.

Would like Barksdale, best remaining FA option at RT.

Dark horse - DE Jarvis Jenkins. Won't make many plays but will eat space and tie up blockers. Could be low risk / high reward.

Unless Chip Kelly flat out lied about it, it's not going to happen. He said very clearly that Bradford was brought in to the Eagles QB. Not for trade bait to draft Mariota. I would certainly ask for a lot more than sam Bradford for the 2nd overall pick. Not sure Bradford is any better than Mettenberger and Mettenberger almost certainly will improve.

Have to agree that it doesn't make much sense and is risky given his injury history. Plus you have a young guy that looks like he can play. Rumors persist...

Agree its gonna take quite a bit for the Eagles to jump 18 spots. Bradford and the 20th pick won't get it done that i can tell you . The fact that the Rams were offered a first rounder for him is crazy. Eagles would have to give up three first-round picks, or two first-round picks, two second-round picks and a third-round pick. This trade was awful to begin with, I can't imagine the circus in Philly if Chip flipped his board for Mariota.

Kelly has repeatedly said he is not going to turn over his entire draft board for one player. He thinks Mariotta is the best QB in the draft, but will not sell the farm for him. Ya never know, but I seriously doubt he does. Would not make sense after the trades he has made this year. Not to mention the guys they let get away in FA. They have some needs they will have to address in the draft.

PFT said that Cleveland offered a 1st for Bradford so maybe Chip flipped Foles for Bradford knowing he can get a first from Cleveland. His poker face is saying he's not gonna give up his whole draft to get Mariota because he won't have to do that. He might be able to use his 1st and one of Cleveland's 1sts to get Mariota. That doesn't necessarily mean moving up into the top 5. He will probably slide.

When it comes to things like this, I don't consider it "lying", I consider it "posturing". If Kelly had said that Bradford may just be trade bait what would that do to Kelly's leverage on some kind of deal? Conversely, if Whis/Webster started acting like they were not interested in Mariota, what would that do to their leverage on the #2 pick?

At this point there is no lying....just positioning and posturing IMO.

I only know I'm not the slightest bit interested in seeing Sam Bradford at QB for the Titans.
