The closest sports bars are in Lima oh and Findlay oh.. And they're BW3'S.... And trying to find a table on football sundays... Much less one near your game... Is like trying to to find a needle in a minefield....

I used to hit the bars for Titan games, thankfully most of our games are early kickoffs so if I got there 15 minutes early I could sit almost anywhere to catch us on TV. Late kickoffs at 4, forget about it, by then bars filled up and every other game is on

I'd imagine you'd spend way more than $100 if you go to a sports bar for 3+ hours 16 times. Unless you're like babysitting one beer the whole time or something.

It breaks out pretty close actually when you factor in food and drinks at home. I save less than $200/season staying home vs going out, not a big difference over 16 weeks

Reason I mostly stay in for Titan games, I like to hear the commentary most weeks, at the bar they only have the local teams game turned up

Sure, but you get waited on at a bar, and you don't have to fry your own hot wings or whatever else. I personally get cabin fever sitting at home for hours, and it's a lot more fun to watch football with other people.
Especially as boring as the Titans are to watch, I'd be borderline suicidal if I had to sit at home and watch all 16 games by myself at home.

You can definitely eat at a bar and spend 10 dollars per sunday.. 160 dollars there to watch every game.
100 to pay to watch at home, then you have to buy and prepare your own food. At least 20-100 bucks on foodstuffs alone (depending on how cheap you go), plus all of your effort frying, grilling, etc... and to get technical... plus your power consumption for 48 hours of TV watching/the cooking for that.

Easily could amount to the same, and you're still just sitting on your recliner in a hermit-like mode, because God knows nobody else in an average town wants to watch the Titans. I have one Titans friend, and he became a fan because I was, back in like 2001.

I miss the days of football, beer and wings; games are too early for that here. What I'm NOT looking forward to is Mike Keith pronouncing "Marcus Mary Yoda" the same way he did Mark Mary Annie. The rest of the planet pronounces the letter "A" correctly.

maybe you get this being a non Tennessee resident too, but are you ever out-n-about wearing your Titans gear and out of nowhere someone approaches you to tell them theyre a fan too?

And it works the other way as well, I seem to be able to spot a Titans logo a mile away.. Then feel some weird urge to go let them know theyre not alone...

I had it good last year. I'd pick up a giant bag of wings and a few brews from Kroger's and come back home and watch full screen on my laptop every Sunday off a stream site.. I'm just hoping that I don't have to comb through the websites again to find another.
