Be gone in the second round and we will be out of the question as suitors unless JRob trades back up for him which I can't see. Then again I am convinced we are going S and CB in the first so ......

Yeah, Witherspoon would be the Colorado CB I'd rather have. He held up very well against John Ross. Awuzie in the 4th or 5th round as another CB option would be solid though.

How do you feel about Kevin King from Washington? I've heard some people say he could go down as this drafts best corner, and he certainly has the athleticism to show that, but I wonder if he's more of a system CB that would fit into a cover 3 and play a Richard Sherman role of covering 1/3 of the field rather than a lot of man. His measurables say he has the quickness, size, and speed to cover anyone, anywhere, but I just don't know enough about him.

If you think he will make it to the 3rd round your crazy. He is an option at 18 for us. He got invited to attend the draft which means he will be a top player drafted. NFL does homework on these guys before inviting them to make sure they are drafted early. Don't want them to last until round 2.

King is my favorite CB to take at #18. He is 6'3" with a 39inch vertical so he can man up to the big WRs in the league. But his 3 cone and 20yd shuttle times were faster than almost any of the quick slot WRs. So he has the foot quickness to stay with the smaller guys.

He isn't the best run stopper, but in watching the Bama game I thought he came up in run support just fine.
