The Chiefs forum may actually be more dysfunctional/overdramatic than goTitans... They hate their 10-4 team like we hate the Titans when they are 2-14.

 

It may be slightly,but I'd say it's a fine line. LOL Go Titans!!

 

Lmao I was having a laugh at them reading all their post.

 

That Chiefs forum was amazing. Read from pg 120 to us making the field goal. Made my day.

 

Lewan just gave a really good interview on Rich Eisen Show this morning, over the phone.

Rich asked him about the 2 point conversion play, and he said that he takes full responsibility for the failure on that play. He said first of all, everyone on the field already knew they were going to 2, and it was no surprise to any of the players. He said they've got a handful of 2-point plays that they've practiced every session since training camp, and they are confident in them and the Titans want to be aggressive and they know that when the game is on the line, the coach is going to let them go after the win.

However, he said that particular play is a run-pass option that is suppose to be called at the line of scrimmage by Mariota. It's a run play with a built-in kill. Mariota didn't like the numbers in the box, so he killed to the pass, but the left side of the line didn't hear the snapcount and were very late getting off the ball, especially himself.

So, as soon as the play was over, he raced over to Mariota and apologized for his bad get-off and for costing the Titans there. Mariota was fired up and replied "No, f*** that! We aren't done. We're winning this. The defense is getting this ball back, so you just don't let anyone get near me after this 3-and-out."
