Yes, but most 6'4 safeties don't run and jump like that either. Looked pretty smooth in drills as well, so I don't think his height is much of an issue.

Height isn't the issue at all. It's that he has the size and athletic ability to play multiple positions. He can play ilb, olb, ss, fs and nickel/dime. Im not against drafting him at all, i actually would love to have him or peppers as a part of our d. I just think he's positionless at this point. Playing him or peppers at one position is limiting their contributions. Just like McCaffrey on o, who i would also like to have.

Why wasn't he more dominant in college?

    Yes. No huskies.

You can include Washington huskies to that too.

Everybody but Munch and ****ing Webster knew Jake Locker was a right armed Tim Tebow with health issues and still drafted him. I'll take quite a few Huskies this year. Byron Jones ain't too bad in Dallas either. But I understand the animosity.

He looked kind of meh to me. Definitely not a 1st rounder.

Yeah, don't think I'd want him at #18 either, but if we didn't take a S in the 1st, and he somehow slid into the 3rd I'd be pretty happy taking him there. Or if we trade back and pick up a 2nd, I wouldn't feel too bad about him there either.

He's a freakish athlete and would give us someone to cover TE's which has plagued us terribly lately. There's absolutely no one on this team who can over a big TE.
