This is comparing apples to oranges if you ask me. Personally, I don't want either unless Lattimore can be had at #18.

I love Lattimore's talent/skillset, but the hammy injuries scare the heck out of me. Love the kid, but if memory serves me correctly, he missed time in all 3 CFB seasons due to his hammys and hammy injuries are usually nagging injuries that often never improve with age.

I'd hate to see us take him at #5 and never see him complete a full season in the NFL -- which is what I fear may happen with him.

Without the injury concern, he's a stud!

 

With all these knocks on latt and very few on peppers, how is latt leading by so much?

 

We have an absurd amount of OSU homers on the board.

 

Latt has a position.
Latt plays a position we badly need.
Latt also has elite athleticism.

If it weren't for the hamstrings, latt wouldn't even make it to five. Might not even with that issue.

Peppers will be there at 18.
