Davis v Williams -- Draft Wars Rd. 2

If Williams gets picked over Davis why did they hire these scrubs as scouts when you guys can easily see it so much better

 

The same reason every team has busts; sometimes they just don't pick the right guy.

 

I went with Davis but feel like Titans like Williams better

 

I picked Davis but I think Williams has what it takes to be a #1 as well. Ability and attitude wise , he plays big and aggressive .

 

The scouts are privy to a hell of a lot more information than I am. They actually get to talk to these guys. See what kind of people they are.

Is Williams neck injury totally a thing of the past, or is it an issue that "one good lick and he's out of the league" kind of possibility?

I haven't read anything about it. Just asking.

 

Took Davis over Williams. Like everything about Davis, not worried about the fact he played in the mac, players from weaker conferences succeed all the time. I do like that Williams performed well against bama though. The more mocks i see have Willams going very early in round 1 (too early) and Davis late in round 1. Would love to scoop Davis at 18.

 

neck injury is nonexistant imo. he took a lot of head-on collisions last year (I watched a bit of tape) and got up and went back to the huddle without even wincing

 

Yea his neck is fine, not a concern to me anyways

but we aint taking him so

This one is actually pretty hard for me. I am not crazy about either one - but I've been going back and forth in my mind over this for weeks, today (and my mind could change tomorrow) I went Williams. The only thing that concerns me about him is his speed. On the other hand, I have a few things that worry me about Davis - level of competition, we don't know his exact 40 time, how will he recover from injury etc.
