Which app specifically did you use on Kodi and what build do you have? Are you on Kodi 17.3 Krypton?

    My 2 cents...

A 'friend' got a firestick with Kodi last year. I tried to watch a Titans game on it and it was...pathetic. It was a SD picture quality with lots of lag...NOT from their internet speed, mind you.

Since then, I have spent quite a bit of time researching this topic and haven't seen a HD quality non-laggy NFL game yet. On the other hand, I haven't really tried...yet!

So if anyone HAS seen a HD pic quality game that's not laggy at all...please let me know the specific app (along with which version of Kodi you're on and preferably, what 'build' you are using). I will check it out and see if I can replicate it!

For those that do use the 'jailbroken' firesticks, be careful watching the live tv apps as I think there is already pushback on this front (some of the 'producers' of the content have already been sued and lost in the US). They have not gone after 'consumers' of it yet. The guy who is the face of TVaddons is being sued in Canada and in the US and I think this lawsuit may well decide if the US will treat these things as legal gray areas or if they will follow the UK.

BTW, this lawsuit is why most Kodi fans are experiencing disruptions and finding problems as some apps have shut down (Phoenix for instance) while others have changed all their web addresses and changed names (Zen has become Elysium for instance).

If you're in the UK, be aware that they have changed their laws and have a MAJOR crackdown going on against people pirating the content, the people selling the boxes/sticks to watch the content...AND made it illegal for people to even watch the content...though they supposedly aren't 'targeting' the people who have sticks or boxes...specifically!

Until I find an app that can stream a game well in HD without lag, thats not an option for me. The old reliable (I don't live in TN) is to hit a sportbar! That's 'free!' And then I get gamepass and rewatch it later!

I don't get great streams either, 720 is about as good as you can hope for, but then the stream will crap out after halftime so for now I'm also watching Titan games at the bar and rewatching again on gamepass

Speaking of gamepass, is anyone else having trouble logging in thru Xbox?

I dropped Comcast TV, but still use Comcast for Internet at the highest consumer available.

I've gone with Playstation Vue, which has been great so far. With NFL I may have some issues. Vue has ABC,NBC, and Fox... in SELECT LOCATIONS... for Nashville, that only includes Fox. I have ESPN and NFL Network as part of the package and I have added the Redzone add-on package. I will pick up CBS All Access which sounds like it broadcasts live NFL games (I am assuming I will get the Titans on the local market).

Seems like my only issue is going to be NBC for Sunday Night Football (and Hockey) so I am going to try an antennae and hope I can pick it up that way.

I'll be at 8 (or at least 6, maybe not Xmas or New Year Eve) Titans games this year, so I'm not too worried, seems like I covered the NFL.
