We use Netflix in Mexico. There is a difference between using Netflix the US vs. Mexico. Some shows air in both locations, some don't and new shows down here.
We use Shaw Box (Canadians know what I mean) here. It cost us approx. $ 42.00 a month. Internet cost us $ 19.00 a month.Netflix same cost as in the US.

Just now starting to play with a new system. You can watch any TV old or new shows, movies old or new. It doesn't matter what channel it was on originally.

I never understood why a company like Disney loses money due to cord cutting, but allowed their content to be available via the cable competition.

They always lose money when I consume their products, because I refuse to pay. :) Don't want to fund them, because of their copyright/public domain BS. They made their money by using the public domain for all their classics. But when their original content is about to enter the public domain, they pay the government and lawyers millions on top of millions to re-write copyright law to prevent material from entering the public domain.

Wrong. Pay for cable or satelite ever? Watched ESPN? They have made money off you.

Yes, I oay a satelite bill, however I have DirecTV without any ESPN or Disney channels, I actively opted out of them. The only related channel I have is OTA ABC, which is a free channel.

Anything they get from 3rd and 4th and 5th parties, I have no control over. However, they get nothing from me. Anything Disney I've owned or consumed, hasn't been paid for by me. Anything I consume from ESPN or Disney is streamed behind a VPN.

I aint that hardcore about it but I talked Dish down on their package because I dont watch ESPN - ever.

they know what you are tuned to thru your DVR so they know I aint lying about it.

I am very close to dropping Dish anyways... but damn watching TV off a DVR is sweet

The previous was bad and this one worse, IMO.

As much as Xfinity is, at least they link directly to Rotten Tomatoes for both their critic and audience ratings. It's the first thing I do before starting anything on Netflix.
