Pick #18 of the 2017 NFL Draft: CB Adoree' Jackson, USC

He and smith have pleasantly surprised. Now need Davis to get going.

 

damn, Adoree has had 2 TDs called back for unnecessary blocks lol

 

Incredible burst and shiftiness and ability to change direction. I wouldn't be opposed to seeing him get in a few plays on offense. Honestly, we have a dynamic QB and now some playmakers. I hope we see the playbook open a bit as the season wears on.

 

USC fans just told me that Jackson never spent the off-seasons at SC practicing strictly football. It was always 90% track/10% Football....and he still won the Thorpe Award.


Sky is the limit now that he can focus 100% on football.

 

I am glad that Oakland picked on him so hard in the first game. It threw him into the frying pan.

 

He is in such excellent position on so many plays. He really can see the ball out there and understands the game.

I honestly thought Jackson would be a wasted pick this season given how historically bad rookie DBs have been on LeBeau's defense but he has stepped up.
