Duane Brown traded to Seattle

Seems like Texans won this trade. Hopefully their oline stinks though

 

Good to get picks but this doesn't enhance their chances of winning the division

 

Feels like a lot of trades happened yesterday...

Wonder if anymore are coming up in the final 4 hours...

 

Lane fails physical, shipped back to Seattle with the 5th rounder for a 2018 3rd rounder. So, they shipped out a troubled 32 year old player that's poised himself as a distraction and got 2nd and 3rd rounders? Yep, they definitely won that trade.

 

Obviously not. How good of a tackle is Duane though?

 

Past his prime, just alright but Seattle's OL is very bad so he'll probably help.

 

Duane Brown felt 'disrespected' by Houston Texans

There may be more to this story, but for me what stands out is this;

Brown signed a >2 year contract prior to 2017.
Then with 2 years left he wants to renegotiate in order to up his guaranteed money and finish his career with the Texans.
Then holds out when they say no, over some perceived unfair treatment.

Dude, you signed a contract through to 2019. Deal with it. Sign through to 2017 if you want to renegotiate in 2017.
