He seemed to be noticeably favouring one leg recently. Definitely made him appear slower.

Will be interesting to see if 2 weeks rest has put that to bed like he says it has, and if his speed/output increases as a result.

I agree with your 2nd paragraph, this was very evident in the Browns game.

I agree the play calling is terrible and we are seeing a stacked box, but maybe a small shifty back could hit the holes faster. Kareem hunt was a 5th or 6th rounder

He was a 3rd. And that offense is far less predictable. Bringing in 2 TEs, a FB, and 250 pound RB in a condensed formation doesn't really cause much confusion for DCs as to what is about to happen.

he was a 3rd that was very undervalued. holds all toledo rushing records and was an excellent pass catcher in his senior season(which he worked on specifically from junior to senior year), those who were watching closely expected it from him

That's what this team wants to do though. Pound you and pound you so more. Which is why they drafted Henry.

I also don't know how I feel about Henry. The whole narrative with him is "when he gets to the second level, watch out cause those smaller players don't want to tackle him."

But he misses open holes more often than he should, and doesn't really ever get to that second level.

He also runs high and that's not really great for a back as tall as he is.

Yes sir agreed. In another thread, someone posted still images of our offense and its rather telling and pathetic. We see LBs stacked up to stop the run but there's only 1 or 2 targets to throw the ball to but no windows. Robiskie is so bad, talent is there but everyone on offense playing in the wrong POS system. Example, vs Browns we're on the 3 yard line but run a TE sweep! LOL. Why not just I-Formation with Fowler at FB and pound it in or if we're going to throw give MM8 at least 3 WRs and DW to try to throw to. Robiskie just a dumby.

Derrick Henry's running style reminds me of Chris Johnson. Which I didn't expect... always looks for the home run, tries to make people miss/break tackles with speed and not power. No real juke or spin ability. He's not what I thought but his speed and stiff arm are nice and it's only his 2nd year.
