No one complained about the GL sweep to Walker when it went for a TD vs JAX

To me he runs more like Chris Brown did when he was here. He's straight up when running.

Well, that was the 1st time we ever did the play but now teams prepare for it. Also, how many times did we attempt that play during the Brown's game?

Murray does still find the hole ok but really does look like he's slowing down.

It's also weird that when he reaches the secondary he almost runs to keep himself in a position to stiff arm a specific player. It's hard to describe, but it almost looks like he gets hesitant after breaking through the initial wall.

Henry shows power when he goes down but I agree that he needs work finding whatever opening is there and taking what he can.

The OL in general can improve on the run game. Their pass blocking has been excellent.

I think our running backs are getting exposed for their lack of versatility. I mean do we ever see them running out of shotgun formation?

It's not like good RBs haven't come out of the 5th before. Aaron Jones was selected at the end of the 5th and he appears to be the type of runner we'd like to see as a change of pace back.

It would be interesting to see Muhammed in there. Not ideal, but it's not like the running game is going anywhere in its current state.

The RB lack of versatility or the coach?

Them Running out of shotgun is the coach. We watched Philly use Murray all wrong by running him out of the shotgun the year after leading the league in Dallas almost never out of the gun.
So kudos to Mularkey for "sticking to the plan". He will ride that ship to the bottom of the ocean.

For Henry’s size I am surprised that he does not run through piles with more anger. Seems when he gets into a crowd he stops running.

Still think he is a stud in the makimg but not sure he has a “punisher” mentality as much as I would like.

our run blocking sucks cause teams are selling out to stop the run cause they're not afraid of mariota beating them through the air. if you look at mariotas last 3 games last season and this season so far, hes been straight garbage
