SUMMARY: In Coach Jeff Fisher's Monday afternoon press conference, he did not have the results of an MRI on Vince Young's knee. X-rays taken after the game were negative and he left the locker room on crutches. Reports from NFL.com this morning indicated that Young's knee injury is a MCL sprain which would sideline him for the next two to four weeks. Young went down holding his left knee after he was hit by Jaguars LB Daryl Smith in the fourth quarter of the Titans 17-10 win. Young finished his day 12-of-22 for 110 yards with a touchdown and two interceptions. Detailed information on Young's condition should be forthcoming later today or Tuesday morning.

Fisher was a bit testy this afternoon on the questions about Young's actions on the sideline.

He has alot of pressure being a head coach and i am sure he gets annoyed after a while. He backs up his QB, I respect that.

I agree with Plaster and the guys...Fisher's story does not add up. Let's assume everything about the hammy is true. Why the heck didn't VY tell the coach he couldn't go back in? The rest of the offense was ON the field. Fisher can defend all he wants, but we all saw what happened.

Mental meltdown is the best way to describe it. Vince is mush between the ears right now. A few weeks off is OK but won't cure this.

There have been signs for a long time that Vince is emotionally inept. (Fighting with team-mates, helmet throwing, dissing post-game reports, going back to school during OTA's, "retiring" etc.)

I agree that Vince (and the Titans) are at a significant cross-roads right now.

Understated, especially if the Titans win with KFC. Does KFC then get labeled a winner?

I will say that Jeff knows exactly the nature of Vince's injury and is trying to decide exactly what to do and say. Do you really believe that with Bud's billions and the competitive nature of the NFL, and Baptist Hospital a partner, that Vince and Jeff have to wait for MRI results? Dr. Burton is a talented physician and can give a close diagnosis based on Vince's gait. It's not a season ending injury and maybe this incident will be the thing that jolts Vince.

Puts Vince in a tough spot, because our next 2 opponents aren't good teams. And If Vince comes back at the beginning of the heart of our schedule, you know how titan fans can get..

I seriously think Vince is a great player but is being used horribly wrong...
