I'm loving 2-0 but the Jags have shown they are not what many predicted they would be and the Bengals are... uh... the Bengals. The offense line sputtered some today against a defense they should have dominated. The defense gave up more runs than I would have liked. So I'm still trying to get a feel on how good the Titans are right now and not get overly excited about the good start.

The Titans should be in every game this season. I think the defense is better than last year's. CJ has added a dimension to the offense the Titans haven't had in years. Stay healthy and get decent QB play and I think the Titans will be in good shape come January.

I think the Titans are improved. We'll have to wait and see if it is enough to take them far into the playoffs.

I agree TJ and I've said it all the way back when we had the season predictions thread. We have gotten a little better, and nobody else our division has. I really like our chances.

I expected this to be a season to remember, and it's started off that way.

The special teams play bothers me. Kick coverage sucks. That 70 yd punt was with the wind.
Tackling seems to be a problem.

I like the schedule and the bye timing. Our depth is as good as it's been in a while.

Winning begets winning. The more you win, the more you expect to win. I think this team has the attitude they can play with anyone. Good win against a tough foe in the opener, and any win on the road (especially a blow out like today) brings lot's of positives.

I like this team. We will lose some tough ones. Probably have a let down somewhere. We will play less than perfect every game, but will have our chances in every game.

This is going to be a special season (to remember)!!!!

Jags are a good squad. The problem is this squad and the Bills are both going to be primary contenders in the AFC East. Quote me on Buffalo. Their defense is decent and I like what they do on offense. They'll fight with the Pats and Jets this year closely.

We don't line-up well against Cincy, and we did fine against their defense. Collins was brilliant I thought in his role as a game-manager in absolute horrid throwing weather. Cincy clued in hard on our running game early, but of course they would with our philosophy and the wind conditions. When Collins proved effective, Johnson and Lendale were fine. The fact is we basically did dominate Cincy; just because you don't have 400 yards of offense and 30+ points doesn't mean you failed to control the game. We did here, just as we did last week. That's important.

Cheers. It's looks like we are the team to beat. I felt last year, we were about ready to kick in the Colts door. Splitting with them 1-1, and almost going 2-0 against them was a sign of what was to come. I just wasn't sure. Now I'm a believer because CJ adds a real weapon to the offense.

The best thing about the last 2 games is how we've played in the 4th Q. There is a TON of improvement left - special teams and the passing game in particular, which is great. It looks like this team has the veteran leadership to weather ups and downs, and finish strong.

Looking at the schedule, we have a relatively easy 1st half of the year. Can't look beyond any team, really, but our 1st 6 games aren't against any powerhouses. Once we hit the Colts, GB, Jax in the middle of the season things start to pick up. We need to take advantage of that... stay healthy and get some wins early. I like sitting at 2-0 coming home against the Cows, and then MIN. I really thought we'd struggle early - and we kind of have, but if we win while the offense settles itself we'll be in much better playoff shape.

I still don't get how people say we've "struggled". We absolutely controlled both games with our defense, and were competent offensively today. Now, we've been FLAWED, but every team has flaws right now.

Entering the season, the talk was Colts, Chargers, Jags and Patriots were all a cut above. It appears all four of them are not nearly as good and the Bills, Steelers, Broncos and Titans have closed the gap.

It hurt us that the colts were able to make that comeback today. I think it's going to be us and them in a hard fight for the division all season long, coming down to the last week.

We're certainly improved, the question is if we will continue to improve through the season. If we do, the sky's the limit.
