10-0 and not a complete game yet

We've still got Detroit to look forward to.

 

The Jets game will be tough even if Titans play all 4 quarters...Sad thing is that I will miss it....I will be on my way home from the Sooners- Texas Tech game.

Titans are going to have to adjust sooner. My one concern is we don't adjust after falling behind and can't overcome the deficit...either that or we aren't really behind but still fail to adjust until it's too late. We clearly need to be throwing more on first down. We need to make teams prove they can stop our passing first, if that's what it takes. First down run stuffs is why we failed to convert so many third downs to start the day. This is a few weeks in a row and the Jets are a fairly complete team. We need to take them early and often next Sunday.

 

IMo i think we could have played in the 1st Q like we did after the half.

Fisher and Mike didnt want to lean on Collins to win the game again, we spent the whole first half trying to run mostly. plus we was picking up stupid flags while trying to get our run game going.

After the half they had to change the game plan, we went to Collins and the WR's. But once we got the lead we went very conservative.

I'd like to see us play a whole game with the play book opened up for Collins.
Teams are still trying to stop the run, and we could have our way through the air if the coaches just let us play a full game non conservative.

 

Why play 4 quarters when you don't have to. We are saving it for the playoffs. We're that good.

We started out gunning it down the field (uncharacteristically) with a 47yarder to Gage and then a 27yarder also to Gage! But the 27yarder was intercepted (on the 2yd line), so we went back to Dinger Ball, a little ding here and a little ding there = passes of 10yds or less.
PASSES:
Short (4,6,10,8,8,8,-3)
Medium (15, 20, 13)
Deep, all on left side (47, 27[int], 56, 38).

We need to play the long ball more often. There were only 2 other long balls (incomplete to Jones and Johnson) for a total of 6. The Colonel has the arm, we just need to pass long to give the receivers more practice. It'll make us a more complete offense.

another great win in a hardfought battle. You guys are good and showed me you're for real.

lookin forward to sundays battle. I don't see many weaknesses but am still thinkin we're gonna give you a hell of a game & just maybe we'll pull this one out somehow. We've been very lucky injury wise except for david harris.
