Anyone seen U2 lately?

    So, my mom got my wife and me tickets to U2 at the Georgia Dome in Oct. Now, I am a fan of late 70's to early 90's U2, but they kinda lost me after Achtung Baby. I'm wondering what one of their current shows will be like. Will there be a good blend of older stuff and newer stuff, or will I be forced to listen to the pop garbage they have recently put out?

    I haven't seen U2 since the 80's but I know a few U2 fanatics who swear they get better each time out.. I'm sure it'll be a greatest hits affair.. Lotsa shows out there I'd like to see less.

    I'm not saying that I'm not excited about it. U2 is one of those acts that I have on a list of must-sees before they die. I just want to temper my expectations if I need to.

    Um, what am I missing? I can see their newest video and two snippets from live performances. How does that answer my question? If there is a link I missed to a complete show, or set list, let me know.

    I think I would rather slide down a razor blade fire pole into a pool of everclear than see U2.

    how can you really take that band seriously? The edge? That's his name? Bono?

    I liked U2 up until Zooropa & they lost me, saw them live for the first time ever in Memphis (RATM opened) ... the openers stole the show
