I was looking at this draft chart from Great Blue North http://www.gbnreport.com/picksbyteam.html Teams with pick stockpiles: New England: Has 4 picks in the first 2 rounds, and 6 picks in the first 3 rds. Denver, New York Giants, and Detroit all have 5 picks in the first three rounds. Team without much: New Orleans only has 1 pick (first round) in the first 3 rounds, and only 4 picks in the entire draft
Good management vs bad management.. Teams that win every year also draft the best players. The lions a team that always picks high can't get decent players. Maybe the lions will make better use of those picks with someone else making the decisions.
Lions have 5 picks in the first 3 rounds but didn't go after cutler? They could have cutler and still saved the top pick for curry.
I'd be fine totally trading out of our 1st rnd pick to get a 3rd this yr and a teams 1st next yr. We are mainly looking to fill depth spots so we don't need to use a 1st to fill depth. Stockpile picks for next yr when we might be looking for our future franchise QB.
You need to specify what team or teams you would like us to make that trade with. Huge differences in where teams pick. I think there is great value this year with the 30th pick. I wouldn't trade.
