I think this draft, at this point, feels like we drafted for need more than we usually do. That also feels strange because this is probably the first draft that we've had in a long time where we didn't have any major or immediate needs. Most of these picks are long term or depth. If a few of them turn out to be starters, it'll look all the better because we were planning for the long term. Really, only Britt has any pressure on him, and that's lessened because of the Washington signing.

All in all, though, I'm pretty satisfied. We'll see in 3 years.

Marks is gonna play immediately with his rush skills. I really hated that Nicks was picked right before us but we'll be fine. I like all of our picks. I see 5 starters from this class.

The Titans have a way of not picking huge name guys in the draft, therefore leaving me somewhat apprehensive immediately following their picks. But once again, I've done a little homework, looked up some stats, watched some highlights, and am very excited to see how things pan out. We addressed several needs on both sides of the ball; we got a good run blocking, huge receiver who could turn out to be MUCH more then just that along with a freak of nature who plays TE. If Cook and Britt pan out on offense then I truly feel bad for opposing defenses, as we will be unstoppable. Also, if Ringer looked like a stud in some highlights I saw, and should give us a good 3 back system and a nice replacement for Lendale after his contract expires this year, if that's what we decide to do.

On defense we did exactly what we needed to do in the draft: add depth at all three levels. I was already feeling good about our rotation on the line, and the addition of Marks should aid us greatly in the loss of Haynesworth, hopefully he's a big, run clogging DT like we need.

Overall I'm very satisfied, with the direction we went in the draft. Based on our first three picks alone I'm strait up giddy, now lets get these Noobs signed and in camp ASAP so we can get some kind of feedback as to how they may pan out. GO TITANS!!!

Oh please we have no way of knowing if either CB can cover better than reynaldo.

Who should we have drafted 1, 2, 3a, 3b since you like none of those picks?

Right the only difference between britt and williams is about 60 catches a year production. Paul williams had 19 fewer catches in his career than britt has last season. Britt is a guy who goes out and aggressively does things. Williams can't even run under a punt he is so short in the testicle dept.

Ask soxcat he was at a practice in williams' rookie year. He has about as much get up and go as a damn sloth. Britt is a guy when you tell him to hit someone he asks how many times.

Just what I was thinking... And Britt did that while getting the focus of opposing defenses and seeing double teams often. Paul Williams never even led his team in receptions. Britt runs better routes than most (if not all) the receivers drafted ahead of him, and is more aggressive and physical than any of them. He's a mix of T.O. and Ward in that respect.

When he's on he's a monster of a WR. The big question is his concentration - can he be a pro and do it consistently? We'll see, but for once we know we have a guy who CAN get it done... it's just a waiting game to see if he will.

Needed a WR and we got one. Got a good TE. Can't complain.
