dwight freeney speed 87 is tied with or faster than:
    vince young (85)
    justin gage (80)
    kenny britt (87)
the rest of our receivers except for washington who beats him by 1
all of our cb's except for finny
all of our safeties, tied with griff at 87

just thought i would throw that out there

I like to play other people, but I don't really have the money to buy an online account for as little as I get to play this game anyway. I might be able to play one or two games a week as is.

Halo 2 was the last game that I was adamant about playing online.

That makes me wonder if you will be able to switch player positions and get a better player at different positions like you can on the previous versions.

Something tells me you will probably see a lot of people putting their fastest SS in at LB and blitzing on every play.

    Could be disastrous!

the only thing that could explain it is if an 87 speed as a defensive end is not as fast as a 87 at wide receiver, where the players are expected to be faster

and in regards to having a safety as a linebacker, i guess its a cool "glitch" but i'd rather just have it be as realistic as possible

Former - Yeah, I'd actually find that much more reasonable. I hate being chased down by a freakin' DT when I am 10 yards down the field.

Latter - I generally don't play that way. I don't like to take guys out of coverage or make them play positions their not supposed to. I will occasionally put on OLB at DE when their in their 30's and I am weak at the position. Quick and easy upgrade.

We don't have many players in the 90's most of them are from the O line it kinda sucks, but I look forward to playing it.

I wonder; if you don't upload your NCAA draft class onto '09, you usually get really average players that don't progress too much.

If '10 is anything like this, can we expect for draft picks that never make it over a 75 on average?

I'm curious about that as well. There are usually several NCAA rosters you can download online though. It does make the game more interesting when real players are in the draft.

Yeah, understand that's something they could work on, but they got to make sure they don't go too far and turn it back into 2008's too many interceptions.

I dunno, I've been reading all the madden staff's stuff about how they're lowering the overall's to make the playmakers more gamechanging, but I don't recall any of them saying anything about dumbing down speed...bothers me a bit
All I know is that Polamalu had no chance of catching up to Larry on that TD in the Super Bowl, but not Troy's got a faster speed of 93 and Fitzgerald's at 89......also they gave Fitz the same speed as Anquan Boldin, and Larry is definitely faster
