Havent started a thread in a while so don't come at me to hard. Basically I wanted to get some different opinions on how this organization could attack the position. Kerry has MAYBE this season and next left. Vince is still to much of an unknown with the scale leaning toward more to BUST than BOOM. I hope he can turn into a superstar QB over night, but its unlikely. Lets not make this a debate about VY starting. For poops and giggles, lets say we cut him next season.

We could look at the draft next year to make a pick. There are a few obvious QB's going to be out there. First Bradford, whom I think will go pretty high, so if were picking him it will be a long season, but he might fall due to the injury. Then there is Colt McCoy. Is it the system? Is he tall enough? Lots of questions could make him fall. Who else in the draft intrigues you? First round quality? Dare I say Teebow?

Then we look at the Free Agent Market or Trades. I wish we would have went after Cassell or even Thigpen. Both have tons of potential. Heck, I would have like Cutler. I think KOLB from Philly has made a statement, and there are still a few others out there who might make things interesting. Volek is still a backup some where.

We need a new face. With Steve McNair (RIP) we had that. We had someone to rely on. We knew there was that presence of leadership. We need a Franchise QB. Nothing is ever for sure, but we have had a few misses at this position. I know we need a few other positions, LB, CB, but the QB is the key....I truly believe that.

If Bradford's shoulder is OK, he should be the first QB selected. I kind of like Jevan Snead and the kid from Central Michigan. Snead didn't have a good game against South Carolina but he has a good arm.

He would be limited to using those skills to 5x per season in a Jeff Fisher coached offense.

I definitely think we need to address QB in the draft or free agency, Collins is old, Vince is Vince and I pray we never need Patrick Ramsey to take a meaningful snap.

Dan LeFevour, Tim Hiller, Matt Grothe, or Rusty Smith are some guys we could go after with midround picks.

IMO I don't think it matters if we draft a Qb or not they would not be successful with our Offense of strategy. I think after this season we should just start Ramsey he could hand the ball off and throw dump off passes. Thats what Fisher wants , if not him we need another Vet that can do those types of things. I wouldn't want a rookie Qb in our system unless we change our Head coach and offense philosophy.:grrhee:

He's also a Clausen. The anti-Manning QB family. No thanks.

I don't really like the looks of any of the QBs in the draft. I would rather the Titans find an "undiscovered gem" among the pro ranks. I hope they look long and hard at guys like Jason Campbell and Kevin Kolb. Both could be acquired in a trade for not that much or in free agency after the season (depending on how things shake out with their current teams).
