Hey Titans Fans, A Dolphin fan coming in peace. Me and a couple of my buddies are driving from Boston to Nashville for the Fins/Titans game in Decemeber and I was looking for some advice on where to stay and what's going on in Nashville. We're all into country music and I don't think we'll have a problem finding that kind of atmosphere in Music City, but are there any really good bars or attractions we should head to? Also, what's the atmosphere like at the stadium on game day? We're sitting in section 117, hope they're good seats. Would have been nice if either of us were playoff contenders, but it will still be fun heading down to Nashville. Thanks for any advice.
Browse around the Nashville forum to get some tips. If you still don't find what you are looking for, let us know and we'll fill in the blanks.
There are plenty of bars along second avenue and Broadway that you can get your kicks with country music. You will love downtown Nashville. Atmosphere on game day will be tough to answer. We are going through sort of a crisis, if you have not heard. It all depends on the next few weeks. Just make sure you get a hotel somewhere downtown and not on the outskirts. Enjoy yourself and enjoy the game.
May I recommend the Stadium Inn, right by the Shoney's, about a block from the stadium. they have first class amenities, and you can pay by the hour, and there's a great view of the Stadium.
Well it depends on how much you are wanting to spend on a hotel. There is a Quality Inn right by the stadium that has average prices and is walking distance from LP Field. You will find tailgaters in the parking lot of this hotel. Just like any other town on gameday, tailgating will be going on all around the stadium. If you like country music I would go downtown on Saturday night and try places like Wildhorse Salon and Tooties. It's Nashville, its loaded with country music and bars downtown......2nd Ave. area.
