^ that and ever since it became a four team league with The Yankees holding 5 cards to every other team's two or three.
It's actually quite funny to me that The Yankees get every player they ever dreamed of and still only win the Series twice a decade.
    Baseball is broken. Yankees suck.

    YES!

Now FOX can get back to airing relevant television shows! I've missed Bones, Family Guy and Fringe. :ha:

Baseball would be more interesting if they had a damn salary cap. And jerry jones would be be wise to buy a team and snatch up all the best players and just pwn for as long as he wants. Baseball has too many flaws, no instant replay is a major one.

Football is the lone sport that is closest to perfect. only 17 weeks long with a extra 3 or 4 for postseason then that's it. Then they leave you wanting more. NBA plays like a billion games, no way i would watch every Philadelphia game. Then best of 7 in the playoffs, so that takes forever. And baseball seems like a year long sport to me. And the games are so long that i usually just flip back to the it during the final inning. Yep, i think i'll stick to good ol' football.

Interest math. Yanks won their first World Series in 1923. Since then, including this year, they have won 27 championships. 86 years/27 championships=1 ring every 3.2 years. 3 championships a decade average for nearly 90 years.

If your team was worth $1.3billion you would be furious if they didn't go get the best player available. It's simple business and they play by the rules. Can't argue with results...

    Go Yanks.

MLB does not want parity. Look at the ratings of the World Series. Because the Yankees were in it, it was huge. Go back and check how many watched the Tampa Bay Rays last season against the same team.

Uh no that's not true. I grew up with the Yankees AAA team in Columbus. I went to a ton of games and got to see Jeter, Posada, Williams, Pettitte, and Rivera on a regular basis. Thanks for your stupid assumption though.

And thats why MLB will continue to have a majority of teams struggling to sell regular season tickets. Half empty stadiums at 60-70% of teams, pathetic. I could go on a huge rant but I'll save my wrists the pain. I'll leave it with, MLB is a joke (And NBA).
