CJ is not eddie george. He wont have to get 300 touches to get 900 yards. Quality over quantity my friend. :) Besides, he may get 300 of the 909 needed next Monday night!!

    Things in his favor:
Option - Nobody will really be prepared to defend this until next year
We're losers - Good opportunity to get carries
More men in the box - Big gainer potential at the 2nd level
    Speed - Nuff said

    Things working against him:
Weather - about to go cold turkey
History - Pressure will build to get the record
Spotlight - Defenses are going to add some men to the box. We are less likely to run.

What i liked was that even in the Patriot game, in a blowout, in miserable conditions, he came to play. That gives him a chance. He just loves to scratch it out. Got a chance.

The only problem is, every now and then he only manages 60 or so yards.

It's not that he's inconsistent, it's that he's too much of our offense sometimes and teams gameplan good enough to slow him down.

I think he COULD, but he'll need another 200 yarder, at least.

CJ better be in the discussion for MVP in the coming weeks.

If we keep winning he will be. But if we drop a single game he's out of the running. MVP talk should be reserved for a player contributing to his team's success (winning record). We haven't had much success overall, so he's been overlooked.

But you do know if we keep winning then C.J. gets some MVP consideration, but Fisher will also be in there taking credit. Being looked at as a great coach for pulling his team out of the gutter and winning out. (Even if this isn't how it really is. We know we're wining because of our owner, and not Fisher. And the rest of the world keeps believing Fisher's a great coach.)

Hopefully, but I donĀ“t want him averaging more than 25 carries per games. His running style adds to his longevity but no reason to run him into the ground.

Once we are running out the clock, I think we should hand it to Lendale/Ringer to get 10 yards in three carries.
