I agree about kfc having a negative influence on the Titan run game. Disagree about the game situation. Good point about the rookie QB, but I've seen Titans lose to worse QBs

i agree with that. with collins in the game we got run blitz after run blitz because the rams don't have to worry about kfc breaking lose.

besides, 14 points was enough to win the game....

He's right. I was there watching, as soon as Vince went out the defense started blitzing 5-7 guys almost every play. They started hitting him in the backfield because they knew Kerry can't beat the blitz like Vince can. Vince Young dominates blitzes, he is hard to tackle, can run, can throw on the run, and appears to have beefed up his (deep) accuracy and decision making. I hope he comes back next week.

And I am glad he sat the second half. As soon as I saw him go to the locker room I knew we wouldn't see him again, we were dominating their offense and they couldn't move the rock. No sense in trying to push the issue. I do like the way the first play of almost every game in recent weeks has been a deep bomb from VY. Dude is coming around.

I am a big time Vince fan, but I don't blame Kerry for sucking. It's just hard to come into a game cold and with little preparation. That said, the offense was sluggish with Collins in there and it took Jeff Fisher going for it to wake them up a bit. I hope that pays dividends as we struggle for this last playoff spot. It was like a bad practice in the second and third quarter. And somebody had to light a fire.

It felt like a pre-season game with our starting D when Vince left. I hated seeing Kerry coming in, but it was the best decision. He did alright considering... but it is so much more fun watching Vince do his thing barring injury!

I think it shows great maturity on Vince's part to know he needed to stay out of the game. No matter how hard I cringed seeing Kerry Collins go in, it was the best decision. Keep Vince from further injuring himself in a game we knew we were going to win so he can be ready to go in a game where we will need our "A" game.

Was it just me or did it seem like the offense declined a bit when VY left the game. It seemed a little less exciting for some reason.

Well when you replace one of the most exciting QBs in the NFL with one of the most boring this is what you're left with...

Oh well though, a win is a win however you get it. And Kerry didn't play poorly at all, we just lack a lot of our big play threat without Vince
