Is it starting already with our star WR??

The Titans haven't had a truly dominant No. 1 receiver since, well, they were the Oilers.

Anyone that watched Kenny Britt's eye-opening rookie season knows that streak has potential to end. Now he just has to show he wants it.

Britt admitted Thursday to the Tennessean that he's not in the greatest shape right now. Titans coach Jeff Fisher held him out of OTA work, hoping to avoid a hamstring pull.

Being out of shape in April isn't a huge concern, but Fisher has sounded the alarm publicly on Britt's commitment and offseason attendance a few times this Spring. The second-year player was also in the news a few times in January.

We get the feeling the Titans know they have a good one, but worry about keeping him on the straight and narrow.

Yep, sounds like a typical No. 1 receiver.

Yea Fisher's been talking through the media for weeks now. Why can't he just call him, and say we want you in? Can he call him? Is it that easy? Why is our best WR slacking?

Britt 50% out of shape is still better than most of our lineup 100% in shape. Where's the dude with his avatar..I think Britt can manage.

Fisher did the same with CJ last year. I hope Britt doesn't have a season like CJ did.

So you guys are ok with Britt's laziness and think this is Fishers fault...logical.

Britt doesnt want to be the #1 WR right now. like many other Rookies he wants to play half @ss a few year behind a Vet #1. They dont want the game on their shoulders, and Britt's behaviors as of late is a good way to get what he wants. After thinking Britt would have more playing time next season, now I think he will have less. I hope Williams will step up.

So what you're saying is that he wants a good paycheck but doesn't want to work for it? That would not surprise me. Too many kids his age have that attitude. Or, he could just be afraid that he will fail and this is the way he's dealing with it. Maybe he should talk to a shrink! :)
