I just think some these young guys that are thrown into a starting roll tend to crack, look at VY ..mentally he couldn't handle the pressure. Sadly i think Britt is still to young and hasnt matured enough to focus 100% on the Game. He still wants to live the youngster life without having to come to work and be the main guy at WR. It's to much for him right now. They wont admit it so they just skip practice and get out of shape, secretly hoping to play a smaller role. Britt will come along in a few years if the Titans can keep him on the right track that long.

This kid is young... Really young (as in younger than me), and he's just gotten through his first NFL season. Being 21 and still having some success in your rookie year? It's bound to make a guy cawky (pardon the spelling - really swear filter, really??). I have fears he'll hit that sophomore slump that strikes so many, but it could be a good way to shake him up and get him in gear.

After all, true strength isn't measured by how powerful we are when things are easy, but how well we fight through times of weakness and adversity.

Everytime someone skips workouts they seem to have career years (AH,CJ).

It's April. Good for the body to heal fatten up over winter. Plenty of time to mold it for gameday in September.

    Keep it in house.

And in those years Fisher called them out.

Also pretty sure when George, Mason, McNair, Kearse et al had careers years they didn't skip.

The difference is the NFL insiders were all talking about how awesome CJ was going to be, whereas many of them are now saying that Britt might be a bad apple.

I think it's still way too early to tell, but the signs don't look great. First Britt has some (minor) trouble with the law, then it comes out that he runs with a bad crowd, then Fisher calls him inconsistent and now it turns out that he's out of shape.

The dude needs to grow up and take his career seriously real quick.

McNair is a horrible example. He didn't even practice during the season.

And he's the best QB we've ever had.

Best the Titans have ever had. He's not the best in franchise history.

    And I am talking off-season.
