Yeah, it was kind of bs. I really think he should of won the last season, but maybe not heroes v villains, Parv should've won.

I'm not upset that Sandra won because she deserves the million, she has kids and a husband that serves overseas, and apparently was likable to the other contestants...

but no way she played the best game.

the best player usually doesn't win the million. I understand why, but it still irks me. I wish jury members would judge based on the 39 days they play the game more than friendships and real life.

I wouldn't say Sandra isn't a great player. Probst said she's the master of never getting considered to get voted out and I'd agree with that comment. Her game isn't dramatic like Parv or Russell so it goes less noticed in what CBS chooses to show in the episodes.
You can't argue with the fact that she's got the best record of any contestant - two tries - two wins..
Russell could have bullied and still won but his arrogance gets in the way too much. The sh*t he said to Rupert was uncalled for..

  4. Flying under the radar is a legitimate strategy. Some winners have been the person who led the tribe and was dominant in challenges. Some have been manipulators who won by superior strategy. But many just stuck around long enough and was well liked enough by the jury (or hated least in the case of someone like Sandra).

Russell doesn't seem to understand the game. He pisses off the people who pick the winner. And then complains that the rules are wrong.

Russell's problem is that he makes people hate him (and told people he made $2M the previous year during his first season). There have been other manipulators who won. I remember one season a used car salesman won and he was smart enough to keep people in the dark about how much of a manipulator he was. Also didn't tell them he was a used car salesman...

You guys are right. The game is what it is.

I just wish it was judged more on what they do while they are out there, instead of "i don't like this person, this person doesn't have kids, etc"

Sandra is a great player. She played the cards perfect for "I tried to get Russell out, and yall too dumb to listen". Also burning his hat was HILARIOUS!

I bet they would choose differently if they voted at the live reunion show having seen the aired episodes rather than voting in a vacuum fresh from being cast out.. Russell would possibly have gotten some votes..

Plus Pondarosa majorly influences the jury. That's where the jury goes after being voted off, they have the extra clips on CBS.com.

I'd rather they were separate and without influence from other castoffs. Pretty sure Jerri would've voted Russ until she realized it was a throwaway vote. The entire "heroes" jury voted for Sandra in block, which I thought that was bitter. Their biggest criticism of Parv was "she sided with russell."

    WEAK.

I always want to say I'd do so good on the show, but truth is after 2 days I'd be cussing someone for some rice. Or a real toilet with tp. Or because they looked at me wrong. Or said something that I could remotely interpret in a way to make me go off. Or I'd check my stocks on my imaginary blackberry...

    yeah it'd be ugly.

Russell ticked off the jury. As they were bitter. And they didn't want to give him, already a millionaire.
