Don't you mean over those 13 championship rings? He did play and made the Knicks relevant to the NBA.

You are correct. He was a baller back in the day. I was just talking about coaching. The guy is a lifetime winner. Phil Collins and Del Harris had the same players Phil Jackson had... Who has more hardware? *Crickets Chirp*

Ive seen the statue of Jordan out in front of the United Center but if I were the Bulls Id build a 60ft Phil Jackson tribute tower because he was the mastermind who made all that happen.

Yeah... it's not like the Lakers had homecourt or anything. lol It took a great coaching strategy to come back from 1 game down. That's how the series is SUPPOSED to go.

Why would I bet anything on Phil Jackson? He still has the most talented team in the NBA.

Where were you guys when Pau Gasol was in Memphis? Oh you don't remember the Phil Jackson that didn't have the TWO best players in the league on his team, do you?

    It wasn't good.

    Let's think about it...

    Jordan Pippen.

    Shaq Kobe.

    Kobe Gasol.

Tell me what Jackson won the few years he didn't have those combos to save him.

Not to mention Jackson won rings in the CBA and Puerto Rico. But I'm sure he didn't have to coach there either, he just had the best talent.

Wait. You think Pau Gasol is the 2nd best player in the league?

Nobody wins without talent. Why you think that should be counted against Jackson makes no sense to me. I mean you complain about Phil when Gasol wasn't on the team, is he supposed to win every single year? That's not possible.

Gasol was another Chris Mullen or Bryant Reeves ( a borderline bust ) until he was molded carefully into a Champion by Zenmaster Jackson.

Also, Scottie Pippen, FROM the basketball power house program of CENTRAL ARKANSAS was overlooked until Zenmaster Jackson molded him into a champion.

IDK if I'd be building anything 60-feet high honoring anyone. Look what happened last week in Ohio. http://www.usatoday.com/news/nation/2010-06-15-touchdown-jesus-fire_N.htm

Um, Pau Gasol is NOT the 2nd best player in basketball, but he has always been very very good. Even in Memphis.

Zenmaster Jackson would sending lightening to strike God if anything touched his tribute tower. Phil Jackson doesn't do things just once. He isn't some sort of fluke. He would four-peat a three-peat of lightening to make his point.
