Cool story bro. Lets see what this franchise looks like for the next three years now without Vince.

Well at least this idiot knows it is a stupid career move to curse out your boss and state you quit in front of your co-workers. Vince has quit before (remember the "retirement", remember the Jax game) long before Fisher put any "pressure" or "hand-cuffs" on him.

And this idiot knows that if I wanted to participate in a "league", I wouldn't be attempting to play prideful headgames with a well respected head coach (irregardless of whether or not I felt he deserved respect). This idiot would recognize that it would be worth biding my time and conducting my behavior in a team manner to improve my chances of playing somewhere else or for a different coach if I truly felt I was "handcuffed."

It is no surprise to me to hear Casserly's opinion he won't start. Even Vince's most ardent and influential supporter saw through the fog and recognized he just wasn't starter material any more and cut ties with him.

I suggest that Bud Adams is a lot smarter in that regard than a lot of idiot fans like myself and others.

The fact that several players supported Vince tells me that there's more to the story.

Also the fact that Griffin said he never chased Vince out into the parking lot.

Who was the person to leak all of this stuff to the media?? That's right...it was Fisher

Media was reporting it right after it happened, but keep telling yourself whatever you need. No doubt fish face kept the story alive chucking 'the Diva' under the bus every chance had had, but the media was reporting the incident almost immediatly

    Man- you got it baaaaaaad.

I hear wrapping your head in aluminum foil keeps "them" from reading your thoughts. :brow:

Seriously- I just don't buy into this "Fisher sabotaged Vince" BS. Vince had more than enough opportunities to accurately represent himself to his team, his coach and the fans. His frustrations got the best of him- but it wasn't some "sum" of events that Fisher conspired to push Vince to "the brink" like so many suggest.

Plain and simple- Vince's inability to control his emotions put his career in jeopardy. And his prideful inability to sincerely respond with contrition cost him his job with the organization that made him the #3 overall pick.

    VINCE let us down.

Incident 1: Vince is reported to be suicidal and was intending to commit suicide.
Evidence: His mom couldn't contact him and team officials couldn't contact him.
Verdict: Vince is crazy and could lose it if he loses a game.

    Incident 2: Strip club incident
    Evidence: Video Camera
Verdict: Vince put his team and career at risk and deserves whatever punishment was dished out by the league and the organization.

And then we have this final incident...which has been beaten to death.

What Fisher did to "destroy Vince's TN career"

    1) Did nothing to stop the media tirade that went on after the suicide fiasco.
    2) Never drafted any receivers for Vince. Justin Gage was Vince Young's #1 receiever his entire career.
    3) Would not design an offense to suit Young's strengths and forced Vince to be a strictly pocket passer (which he achieved in flying colors this year).
    4) Benched Vince in the Steelers game after throwing 2 picks against the best defense in the league in the 4th quarter when the game is still on the line.

Jeff Fisher is just as responsible for Young's failure in TN as anybody

OK I realize what I'm up against.

So..... at least Fisher has given Vince some room to grow somewhere else.
