Kellen clemens had just 8 sacks at Oregon in 2005 and only threw 4 ints. He has been horrible in the nfl. A 2nd rd pick in 06 he was a similar prospect to Dalton this year.

FYI in the first post of this thread Duece proclaimed Stanzi the best Qb in this draft and Ponder 3rd.

In a thread about Ponder, Duece proclaimed Ponder "by far the best QB in this draft".

    Confused?

    Here's my take on QBs.

IF we draft a 1st round QB (at #8):
    #1: Cam Newton
    #2: Blaine Gabbert

IF we dratt a 2nd round QB:
    #1: Ryan Mallett
    #2: Jake Locker
    #3: Christian Ponder
    #4: Colin Kaepernick
    #5: Andy Dalton

If we draft a 3rd round QB:
    #1: Colin Kaepernick
    #2: Andy Dalton

Now my opinons change just about every few days. I've been pretty high on Mallett for about the last three weeks though. That's who I realllllly want with our 2nd.

Or he could have simply read...

"Christian Ponder - The only reason Ponder isn't #1 in this class is due to his health, which is a major concern that could knock him out of success altogether."

See how that works, RollTide? It's fundamental.
