Only if he loses that second step will it be over for him ( seven years still without a jumpshot or postgame so it probably won't happen) cause then he will have to do a two step gather like the rest of the league.

Apparently Jordan's greatest fear was losing his image in the media.

I don't think anyone thinks he will break scoring records. He might make a run at highest career PER and +/- though.

Hey man, by the way, BY THE WAY, what's Lebron's excuse now? Had world class talent around him and played an average Dallas defense, yet still managed to somehow play just as bad if not WORSE than the last time he was in the Finals. :wink2:

    1. I accept facts and fact is Bosh's team has never been relevant and by your own logic, he was not a MVP caliber player. Again, Bosh contributed to that team playing no defense. So they missed like 10-12 games each, not like it was going to make a difference anyway, they MIGHT have snuck into the playoffs and that's being very generous. And one player can make a big difference dude, did you not see how much Tyson Chandler covered for Dirk.

    2. I never made an excuse for LeBron this year, I clearly said he was playing like crap.

    3. Miami's defense was 6th in points allowed, 2nd in opponent's fg percentage, 1st in points differential, and had two of the best defensive players in the game. They certainly can make a case for having the best defense.

    4. He also had a 35 and 38 point game. When you have 10 assists and 19 rebounds along with 27 points, you're allowed to shoot 38 percent. He was the reason why it was even a series in the first place, way to try to make Boston sound like some pushover team, they kinda made the finals and took the champions to a game 7.

    1. He was right, they did and they were never that good to begin with.

    2. He disappeared in the finals, can't refute that, LeBron was the leader up until then and the one directing traffic, he practically played PG. And? He still shut down the league's MVP and everyone here seemed to think the Bulls were the favorite. Rose wasn't getting mugged by LeBron, he was just intimidated which is he took so many step back's. Kudos to Terry, he wasn't afraid to attack the rim. Silly? That's off two what, two plays by Marion lol.

    3. What's your point? LeBron has monster playoff numbers too.

    4. Nobody wanted to play with him which is why Shaq wanted LeBron to win him one last ring before retirement.

So-called best player? Out of curiosity, who's your top 5? (I'm going to laugh if you put Dirk at 1)

A lot of people compare him to Magic, I've always thought the Magic comparison was far better than the Jordan comparison. It's not far fetched at all. Magic also had two of the 50 greatest players to pass to.

LeBron averaged something like 30 pts, 8.5 rebounds, 12 assists in 8 games at PG in his final season with Cleveland. And seeing how he gets 7-8 assists a game anyway, there's no reason to believe he couldn't average 12 assists for a whole season running point.

At the movies they now ask you to put your phone on LeBron (no ring).

    And it starts...

Same things happen to all of them. There's a hurdle. Some get over it. Some don't. Think Lebron will get over his because he's been much closer than most and no reason yet to think he won't be there again next year. They are more talented, I think they have coaching, They have skills, and they can be clutch at times, and they have defense, well rounded team. His only hurdle appears to be mental, and possibly team depth, and he's proven that 95% of the time that's not a problem. So I think he'll overcome it.

Those who never really climbed their hurdle:
Ewing - Jordan was in his way, never best center ( Less talent )
Barkley - Was never clutch at the right moment ( mental )
Daugherty and Price - Bird and Jordan got in the way ( Not as talented )
Robinson - Need help from Duncan to win the west ( Simply not the best center )
    Nash - No Defense ( coaching )
Malone and Stockton - Never had a goto shot they could rely on ( lack of skill, not clutch )
Reggie Miller - Team was soft ( Not physical )
Payton and Kemp - No goto move, relied on athletics ( No Clutch )
Wilkins - Team was not talented ( No Talent )
