Man... SM1 and 3 with the Green Goblin Power Rangers suit... so cheesy. Doc Ock was ok in 2, because there's not too much to screw up with him, he is a demented doctor with metal stretchy arms..
Venom, new Goblin, and Sandman were so bad in 3, with Venom being the most disappointing.

Whatever that was in Spiderman 3, it was not Venom.
The worst superhero movie ever. It makes Batman & Robin look like an Academy Award winner.

I enjoyed Batman and Robin, because I was a kid. I was in my 20s with SM3 and I left with a terrible taste in my mouth, and no, nobody messed with the popcorn.

Topher grace did more harm to the Venom character than Arnold did to Mr. Freeze. Batman and Robin was at least silly enough to chuckle at, it was comical. Spider Man 3 was just grueling.

If you're going to watch a bad movie, would you rather watch one with cheesy lines and silliness, or one that takes itself more seriously and fails simultaneously?

I'm just a couple years older than you so yeah, I'd definitely say I enjoyed B&R more than SM3 when they each were first released. However, a few months back on a lazy Sunday I got sucked into Batman & Robin on TV. And from an adult perspective, it's just god awful. Seriously no redeeming qualities other than the unintentional entertainment brought on by the very high cheese factor.

Although, I do seem to be in the minority that doesn't think SM3 is quite as bad as everyone makes it out to be. It is no doubt the weakest Spidey movie... and by a very large margin. Yes, the dance sequence was downright awful. And yes, Eddie Brock was terribly miscast. And true they did try to cram too many stories/villains into one movie. But IDK, for some reason I still found it to be enjoyable enough. I'd give it a 6/10 on a good day while the first two films were easy 9's.

To answer you question, I would rather watch a cheesy bad movie than a serious yet bad movie. But my whole point is that I don't think Spidey 3 is as bad as a lot of you are making it out to be. While I definitely can't agree that B&R is the superior movie, I can certainly see how some people might find it to be more entertaining (strictly for the cheese/unintentional comedy).

Did I really just type that much debating Batman & Robin vs. Spider-Man 3?

I was a small child when Batman & Robin came out. I thought it was garbage then.

Fantastic Four was the worst of the worst, and especially bad since FF comics were some of the best. Shame.

I believe they are rebooting the Fantastic Four. The 2nd one was awful. That was not Galactus or Silver Surfer. Not sure who those people were.

    Yes they are re-doing FF.

At least they won't have to explain how Human Torch is Captain America.
