Not if you want a QB that can play a 16 game season.

"capable of both teaching and potentially starting."

I still think Munchak and Palmer want to play Locker at some point this year.

I don't think they're looking for a QB in an attempt to win now.
I think they're 100% committed to developing Locker as their franchise QB.
I think its telling that Munch listed teaching before starting.
And even when he mentioned starting he tempered it with potentially starting.

I think the 'mentor' QB is very important.
Hopefully the mentor QB will be scheme familiar, but either way the mentor QB is there to show the kid how to a professional QB.
Part of it is about how to read coverages, how to recognize what defenses might do etc.
But another part of the mentors role is showing/telling Jake how to be a leader on and off the field in the locker room, in the community, with the media with the fans etc.
It also to provide guidance and support on the field when the going gets rough and its gonna be rough at times.
Delhomme was able to provide that on the sideline for Colt McCoy, Brunnel was able to provide that for Sanchez.

Chris Palmer runs and Erhardt-Perkins based offense and he's keeping 50% of the verbiage from the Mike Heimidinger offense Denver/Shanahan WCO.
My guess is the QB they choose will be familiar with at least one of those offensive systems.

Just stop it! You're blaming someone for breaking their finger on another players helmet? Those things happen by chance, and not because the player that it happened to sucks. Grow up! I'll bet you take offense at being labeled a hater too.

if the Diva was more talented he would have made the read quicker and gotten rid of the ball faster and there would have been no finger owie at all.

lol - yeah thats the great thing about football.

Total TEAM game. Clearly that particular play had zero fault. Series of little things and VY winds up with an injury. Titans gave up that gimme TD in the SB because Kearse 'almost' got Warner making the pass short. Dorsett was in position on a well thrown ball but the WR broke into the underthrown one and there you go....

lol - its a joke, but there is a kernel of truth. Clearly the OL could have held the blocks 0.1 seconds longer, ect....

I know a lot of you fans hate Vince Young. But he's the best QB option available if you go from a talent and/or production standpoint. Plus his stats have been on the rise steadily since his rookie season. Despite having poor stats his rookie season, his play always elevated the players around him. Now he has the stats and the same ability to spark an offense.

Fisher is no longer the coach of the team. That dispute should've stayed between them. It should have never been on national tv.

I agree with everything you said except referring to VY as an option or him as available to the Titans. They don't want him. They've made it clear for a good minute now that he's getting traded or released. They're not changing their minds now.
