You really didn't disprove anything I stated. I insinuated one S would have the whole field to cover, by saying there would be one S left over the top, but in reality he won't be covering the whole field. That safety will roll to the side of the most dangerous WR. If Randy Moss (Britt) is out left, the lone safety on top will shade to that side as he reads the play and the QB's eyes. And dropping a Safety into the box doesn't ensure anything is left open because you still have a CB on the other side and there are players in the NFL that don't bite on play action.

This does make the lanes bigger for TEs and WRs and gives them an advantage. But you can still play Cover 2 and drop a S into the box.

And any effective run game helps playaction, not just CJ. Which is why our FO isn't dropping to their knees and giving CJ whatever he wants to show up.

BTW I do understand what Phi was saying, and in a sense he is correct. But with all the uneducated posters on this forum they will eat that up. It's not like our run game will be non-existent this year.

 

I am concerned about the offense. I think this will be a rough season but I think the run game will flourish

They're hardly "rollin", they're simply no longer being ran by a complete bunch or morons.

 

The way they got after Brady, their defense wash certainly rolling. If Stafford can stay healthy their offense should get going pretty nicely as well. It is preseason, but they had Brady flustered on the field. How many defenses can say they accomplished that?

And we have also had this guy named CJ or JC? I get confused...oh CJ. Yeah, he's the best player on the team and kinda would open things up for our offense.

And how the hell does the Locker play not count? Get a clue OP. Did the Music city miracle not count? That was lucky...but it worked.
