I am not buying into the texans untill they beat the steelers. I think their secondary still sux, although I did like the joseph pick up at corner. Big Ben takes a beating but throws for 400 yards and the texans turn it over on a matt schaub forced throw to andre johnson in the red zone inside two minutes! 30-27 steelers

Hope the steelers are really beat up going into the next one with us. I agree titans in first place in the afc south by tomorrow!

    Guy, guys, guys.

Let's face it. Texans have already won their annual preseason/2-0 championship. It's choke time.

The Texans may win, but it is not a given. The Texans are choke central. They are direct reflection of their HC Kubiak. They are soft mentally. Schaub is the most overated system QB who benefits from an offense that throws alot. He is a ok QB but he folds under pressure. Kubiak gets goofy in his play calling in the RZ.

Pittsburghs defense isnt old and isnt slow. They will give the Texans fits tomorrow. If the Steelers get to Schaub, its all over but the crying. The Steelers offense is a mess but if they can run the ball, which they can on that small vanilla 3-4 Wade Phillips runs then it could be a long day for Texans fans. The Texans have NO ONE who can cover Wallace and Brown step for step. The Texans still have one of the worst secondaries in the NFL as a unit.

This game could go either way, its close. The Texans are NOT a juggernaut and its not even close. They are basically the same team they were last season. Kubiak is their HC. Thats all you need to know.

I'm pulling for Pittsburgh because a Houston loss helps Tennessee in the AFC south division.A Houston loss plus Tennessee win will put Tennessee on top of the division.

Time for the Texans to choke.

This week and next week will be a good guage of how close the race between Houston and Tennesee really is. Because we'll get to see how good the Steelers really are. Houston has em this week, and we have em next week.

It's ironic: I tend to think our 2-1 records is a mirrage, because I think the Ravens 2-1 record is mirrage, and I think that because I think the Steelers 2-1 record is a mirrage.

When people on this site wanna rave about the 2-1 record, they usually site the Ravens win as the mark of a legit team. But the Ravens only blew out the Rams and Steelers so far, and we got them on a down week. The Steelers meanwhile only beat the pitiful Seahawks and would've lost to the Fin colts if Curtis Painter didn't give them the game at the end.

If Houston blows out the Texans and we struggle it's not a race. It's just a matter of time until it becomes completely clear.

You know what's great about the NFL? It has a playoff and there's no such thing as strength of schedule. Any team can beat any team any week. Every single one of these guys are pros.

    Yeah that's true. Good point.

But it'll still be interesting to see how Houston and Tennessee do against Pitt in back-to-back games. Kind of as a measuring stick, but I hate to use ESPN terms like that.

Two reasons why cheering for the Texans is a dumb idea:

    1. They're our division rival and a win by them hurts us.
    2. The Steelers don't go on two game losing streaks.
