Don't get me wrong, I like what I've seen from Locker, and I'm sure any time he can sit behind Hasselbeck will probably benefit him and the team in the future. Locker is a Titan for better or worse, and I'm behind him 100%. Nothing would make me happier than for Locker to become our franchise QB.

Nonetheless, it still feels to me like he is a work in progress and has a lot to learn about throwing from the pocket, accuracy, reading defenses, etc.

In general, from top to bottom, it seems like last year's QB class (perhaps Newton and Dalton excepted) is not as polished as this year's, with Luck, RGIII, Barkley, Jones, Weeden, Tannehill, Russell Wilson, etc. presumably all coming out.

Now hopefully the Titan's wouldn't be drafting in a position to select one of the top QB prospects anyway (certainly not Luck), and obviously none of these guys are a lock to succeed on the next level. But does anyone else feel like maybe the Titans would've been better off picking a QB out of this year's draft class?

Only time will tell, but right about now I'm slightly envious of the teams that have all of these potentially solid options for rookie QB's.

    Nah, I'm happy with Locker.

This years class will be better than next years class.

What people see in Jones, Weeden, Wilson, and Tannehill is beyond me.

Nope. All it would be doing is delaying the inevitable. Aside from Luck, who in this class is any more of a "sure thing" than Locker?

I like RGIII, but aside from him and Luck I don't get the fuzzies from any of the other guys you mentioned. Brandon Weeden is older than Aaron Rodgers. Tannehill is just as raw as Locker, if not more so due to playing the position only two years. I'm pretty much convinced Landry Jones is going to suck. I haven't seen Barkley play since the Ohio State game a couple of years ago, so I can't make a judgement on him. Russell Wilson could always play baseball(why he transferred to Wisconsin).

We wouldn't be in position to draft either Luck or RGIII, so I'm happy with the decision.

Locker has looked good in limited attempts and there are no guarantees about any QBs, so no.

I understand what you're saying, with all the QBs it's likely we could of gotten one later than the 8th pick.

If Von Miller, AJ Green, Julio Jones, Marcell Dareus, or Patrick Peterson would of fell to us.. I would of wanted one of them. But they didn't, so I'm glad we took Locker and got him in TN. I wouldn't of minded JJ Watt either though.

Lockers here now, and he's learning, and hopefully will be our star shortly. But with how Hasselbeck has been playing, i'm left to ponder that I bet Hass could start next year, while a different rookie learns under him, and we could of drafted a playmaker.

Coulda, Shoulda, Woulda... it's in the past.

It's just a shame that we haven't seen these players play against SEC defenses. It just proves that the SEC defenses aren't battle tested and probably overrated and these Quarterbacks haven't had to face real adversity on defense. I guess all defenses would look great if all you had to face was run first, finesse teams each week.

That's cause no QB can look good in the SEC with the awesome speed and talent of the d-line.
