So was there a QB over age 35 that won a superbowl since 1985 that I missed? Please point him out. It's no secret at QBs after age 35 are in decline... You guys can put your fingers in your ears and close your eyes and hum "Nah nah nah nah nah" to yourself but it won't change the fact that Peyton Manning will never bring this franchise a superbowl as a starting quarterback...

Anyone wanna bet money on it? I'll even give you 3:1 odds on your money. I'd be glad to take a buncha money from you UTjr homers... I'll call my backer and my insurance man and i'll take all the money you suckers wanna give me.

Been a fan since I was 9 years old, haven't missed a single game since. Use to browse here but couldn't sign up for the longest time because "hotmail" or "gmail" accounts weren't allowed. Finally found a way.

I'll never leave this franchise. Pretty sure everyone here knows how serious I am about this team and how frequent I'm on.

    Pretty sure you're trolling anyways.

Well if you think about it, it makes sense. The guy that torched our organization for 10+ years probably knows a little something about football.. Probably a safe bet that Peyton would make a good coach/executive at least at some level in the NFL, whether that means quarterbacks coach, head coach, or GM. And.. ahem.. I hate to be the one to break it to you but, Peyton Manning has always been a better quarterback than Steve McNair. Yes, we all hated him when he was a Colt. But he's not a Colt anymore.

I think you should go ahead and leave the fanbase anyway, even if we don't sign Manning. I hear the Jags are looking for fans.

Would have been a cheap deal, in retrospect.

How many QBs over 35 were in a situation that we can offer Peyton that were as GOOD as Peyton is?

Better statistic would be how many Hall of Fame QBs who played past 35 made the playoffs and then didn't win the Super Bowl.

That would be the proper study since Peyton is a HOF QB with whom we'd at least make playoffs.

McNair, well Bus Cook, his agent controlled that. They built in a 50 million bonus that they knew the Titans wouldn't/couldn't pay.

There has only been one African American quarterback to win a Super Bowl....so ur saying the redskins shouldn't draft rg3 based on that stat or the league in general should just dismiss all African American qbs because of that stat
