    You are making such an arbitrary argument. You can ramble off about quarterbacks over 35 being in the decline but guys like Gannon and Warner have proven otherwise. Gannon won a MVP at the age of 37 and led the Raiders to the super bowl and Warner led the Cards to the superbowl at the age of 38 i believe. If Peyton can get us to the superbowl signing him is a success.

    The reason Indianapolis released Manning wasn't solely on his health. It also had to do with being in position to get the next Peyton Manning. If the scouting report on Andrew Luck wasn't so impressive, this all wouldn't have happened. The release of Manning isn't the red flag you're looking for. It's more about perfect timing for the Colts.
