Knoz or Barron make the most sense if you balance need with strength of draft

I understand the case you can make against Konz but whats wrong with Barron. I think hes going to be great.

Everyone, dont forget we still have the ability to sign a center through free agency if we dont draft a center. I like Vlachos from Alabama in the late rounds if we do decide to take one however.

If Barron is there at 20, my only fear would be that someonein the FO might sprain their ankle in their haste to turn the card in fast.

Konz... I wouldn't be pissed about it, but I wouldn't be thrilled either. My board of possible players at 20 looks something like this...

    1. Floyd
    2. DeCastro
    3. Barron
    4. Mercilus
    5. Konz

Our board probably looks like this for the 1st round: elite picks: DeCastro, Coples, Kuechily, Cox, Floyd, Barron; more realistic picks: Still, Kirkpatrick, Perry, Mercilus, Brockers, Gilmore, Hightower, Poe

I got Still ahead of the other players that will probably be at 20 because he's the best DT IMO, over Brockers and Poe. I feel as if our front office will be leaning more toward DT or CB in the first, especially if the top 6 I mentioned are gone. With Morgan, Wimbley, Ball, and a few other potentially good DE's I feel as if our coaches feel ok at the position.

I'm beginning to wish the titans would trade up to the cards pick and get Barron. I think that guy is a sure fire 10 year starter all-pro types guy.

He got his name by hitting people, and that's all he does well.

    He's Roy Williams.

I like my safeties to be able to cover, be ballhawks, make plays.

    He's not that guy.

Guys that look good playing with Alabama like him... would look mediocre on most other teams.

I think he moves much better than Roy Williams.

Mark Barron can cover, watch his game tape..just because he hits hard doesn't mean he can't cover...him and griffin would be a lethal duo at safety...we need to draft him if "DeCastro, Coples, Kuechily, Cox, Floyd" aren't available...

    He can not cover.

It's the knock on him. Sorry... he can't and never has shown otherwise.
