What average body is around 11%? That is a really good percentage for the average person. It might be the average for NFL corners and wrs if that's what you were referring to.

Idk where all this "fat" talk is coming from...Probably his 40 time at the combine, but it's totally fabricated from what I've read...

I'm pretty confident the Titans wouldn't have picked him if he was 16% body fat for his visit. And He NEVER had any issues with conditioning at Baylor. Some of you guys need to do your homework. A Conditioning clause in his contract? Really? This isn't Lendale White.

    GoT should like this:

Sounds like a guy we would have drafted when we first moved to TN.

    Which is a good thing.

Watch his combine video. Looks pretty cut up to me.

This pick came out of left field, but I think he'll be good for us.

If things break the right way (Britt's health, improved line play, CJ recovers from his torn labia) this offense could be very very special.

Seems like the FO is going with a "make one side of the ball excellent" strategy over the "fill needs with mediocrity" plan we've seen in the past. Let's hope it works out.

According to their Pro Days, he's faster than Blackmon and has a 2" higher vertical than Blackmon. They have a 3" height difference.

A solid receiver, is a solid receiver. We've seen in New England that even the shorter receivers can get it done. What excites me about Wright is his playmaking ability. If Britt can remain healthy then we have two dominate receivers who can make plays. Washington, Williams, and Hawkins can be worked into packages and provide depth.

It really could open up our run game and provide some huge running lanes for Locker if teams are forced to keep an eye on Britt and Wright. Kendall Wright is also a receiver that has played with a mobile QB before.

I like the pick. Defensive Ends sometimes take a while to develop. If Wimbley can transfer his production levels, and Morgan can take a step forward this season, we'll be fine at DE after drafting one in the 2nd or 3rd. Casey is due for a breakout year IMO, and Klug might push the DLine for highest sacks. I think we're much better off at D-Line this year already. Maybe we just didn't want to tip our hat that we were going to draft a WR.

My initial argument for Kendall Wright was this:

We have a QB that doesn't like the pocket- a guy that finds open space down field like Wright would be HUGE for Locker. He's used to coming back to RG3 also. The 2 of them together should be pretty great.

I have two major gripes with the coverage from last night...

    1. That stupid rapper guy in the red suit that was in each intro? That guy sucked.

    2. I'm annoyed at how ESPN snubs small market teams. You'll notice, they ALWAYS went to commercial when a small market team was on the clock (us.) When we picked, they basically made no comment, just moved on to the next pick. Its like we don't even exist over there.

Cut up, you've got to be kidding me?

He has one of the softest bodies I've ever seen in a pro wide receiver. Look he may not have 16% body fat, which was reported, but to say he's "cut up" is absurd. The guy just looks a bit chubby, I'm sure when he gets into an NFL weight program he'll be just fine. But he did just 8 reps on the bench, I know he's a receiver, but that's just pathetic and goes to show his lack of overall strength. I could do 8 reps as a Junior in High School, and I wasn't that strong.

Say what you want about Michael Irvin, but he's still a HoF WR, and it was exciting to hear how excited he gets about this kid.

Hopefully we have a gem on our hands.
