Some people find that a shallow experience so they collect physical copies to get the full experience.

The difference between emulators and physical is one you have to physically grab the game and put it in.

Just try and local thrift store every so often. Also if you want to buy online. best time is fall on ebay where prices come down on retro systems as people are more busy buying new releases.

Like how you have all your systems out on display Ryudo. I plan on eventually getting/making a custom entertainment center so I can do the same thing (as well as hopefully house my vinyl). I currently have PS3, Wii, Dreamcast, N64, PSone, SNES, NES, and several incarnations of Gameboy. I'm going to add a Genesis and Atari 2600 then probably call it a day.

How much are they charging? And how much are you willing to spend?

I know Ryudo knows his games. But FWIW I've never seen a NES system online for less than $10. If I ever saw one that cheap I'd consider it a steal and snatch it up right away.

I been out of touch on NES for a while they used to be dirt cheap but yeah checking now they went up. Oh well Thrift stores often have old games and systems. I got a NES there once for 3$ and a new original Xbox for 8$ (I now have 3. One broke downthen replaced it then got the 8$ one because it was 8$) Also it's summer so check yard sales. I got a gamecube yesterday with a Game Boy Player for 15$. Also again check ebay in the fall when prices go down as well.

For a regular NES, I haven't found one for under $100.. They are what everyone wants these days, and they don't come cheap around here.

If you can find me a cheap one, please let me know.
