Huh... anyone notice how almost all of those are throws that didn't go more than ten yards?

That doesn't mean a thing. Why do people think its okay to have an average QB just because our past QBs have been below average? Since when does average get you anywhere?

    Eli Manning - 359 completions for 4,933 yds. - 8.38 avg. yds per pass w/ 29 TDs - 92.9 passer rating.

    Matt Hasselbeck - 319 completions for 3,571 yds. - 6.89 avg. yds per pass w/ 18 TDs - 82.4 passer rating.

Eli Manning was ranked 7th among QBs last year, Hasselbeck ranked 16th. I'm not sure what your definition of average is. If you call Eli average, then what does that make Hasselbeck?

    Try again.

Eli has been considered average and faced strong criticism for years, I think that is the connection he was making. Not that hard to come to.

I don't consider him that any longer however.

Over the past 20 years the only non-elite QBs to win a Super Bowl were Brad Johnson & Trent Dilfer. It hardly ever happens and you have to have an all time great defense. you guys are really grasping at straws here. Average QBs just don't get you anywhere. They may luck out and get you to the playoffs every now and then, but they're never going to win you a Super Bowl.

    Schaub
    Flacco
    TEBOW
    Dalton
    Smith
    Ryan

You could argue that Schaub does not have to be on the list, but you cannot argue that you don't know what you are talking about. Thats half, if not more, of average QBs taking their team to the playoffs.

I'm not sure what you're trying to say here. Matt Ryan is a top 10 QB and four of those QBs you listed have only been to the playoffs ONCE, but of course that's good enough for you, isn't it? Keep arguing for mediocrity. Get it all out now, because once the season starts you won't have much to say.

    Okay

I am officially out of things to say to someone that actually believes that.
