I just can't see us keeping 11 DL. I also don't see Martin making is at safety since he has been injured. I think he becomes a practice squad guy. I'm not convinced that our safety depth is on our roster. I think a vet will get cut that we will pick up for depth. I think we will keep 9 OL also.

No way they cut Ringer, Munchak has a man-crush on him in the emergency event that CJ goes down, Munch has full confidence in Ringer who knows this offense in and out.

I think depending on Britt's situation.....Lavelle Hawkins is the WR on the hot seat. Mariani keeps showing his value in the return game, plus, he keeps making plays at WR and at least knows his assignments.

I don't know what you guys are talking about with Marks, he made one play last night where the Guard didn't even get off the ball and allowed him to trip up Orlovsky, talk about bad OLine play. Other than that, i'm surprised he's been getting as much work as he has. In the limited snaps Klug gets compared to Marks, he makes 10x as many plays. Unfortunately, I think Jason Jones would've been the PERFECT compliment at DT to Jurrell Casey.

Our DBs have looked really solid, we may be a Backup Safety away from our final roster, I really like all our DBs. Nick Schommer had shown much more than these other safeties besides 33/32/26.

Hawkins is safe since he just re-signed a 3 yr deal with a 2mil signing bonus. We aren't just going to throw away that 2 mil. But I agree he should be on the hot seat given the improvement of Mariani.

That very well could be. I just went with who we had on the roster. It would be too hard to predict who gets cut from other teams and who we might pick up.

Quinn played great last night. He had some very good blocks and was driving players to the ground. I remember one play where his guy got picked up and a DE came shooting off the edge and he turned and 1 handed the guy backwards so he couldn't get to the RB.

I say Quinn stays. I like Colin, but didn't notice him yesterday.

Marks started last night. He was part of the D-Line rotation that wreaked havoc on the Bucs. I was surprised to see him start, and even more surprised to see him getting penetration. Maybe he turned a corner this year.

I think we keep 4 running backs before we keep 6 DTs lol.

Mooney keeps breaking stuff, can't make a team if you're always hurt. First his hand, now his knee.

I always look at the roster as the minimum you need to keep at each position and then try to look at the best players left.

    QB-2
    RB-3
    FB-1
    TE-3
    WR-5
    OL-8
    DE-4
    DL-4
    LB-6
    CB-5
    S-4
    K-1
    P-1
    LS-1

which adds up to 48.... so you have 5 spots to play with...
