Well, I welcome you to tell me exact plays to watch again. I've watched every single running play this season and studied them to find out what's wrong. I've found only a couple of bad reads myself. I highly doubt any RB in the league hasn't made any. His hesitance has cost the Titans 1-3 yards a couple of times, but if you think any RB would have produced enough to be considered effective on the same plays CJ has run on, you may be right about us living in totally different worlds. Our line, playcalling, and scheme have rendered CJ ineffective imo. Same thing as last year and the ONLY RB on the team then that EVER looked good then was CJ. Unless you want to count the one Ringer TD against the Ravens. He looked good on that play.

I wish Chris Johnson had never come to me, I wish none of this had happened.

Really hard to blame him. Yeah, he could lower his shoulder and take a 2.0 YPC average instead of a 1.1. But that doesn't help the team much, he's looking for the home run like he has his whole life, its the only way he knows how to run....Can't blame him for that.

When I see a RB come in and produce with this line, or CJ not produce behind a respectable line, then I'll blame him.

BTW, Why would CJ be purposefully missing holes? Some of you suggest he's missing holes he could get 10-15 yards out of. Pretty far-fetched to think he just somehow lost his vision. So how is he missing holes, would be pretty dumb to see a hole and not run to it, but even dumber to accuse him of doing that.

Well I think a bigger back would definitely be more effective behind this putrid OL. But that's hardly CJ's fault.

You've seen "a couple bad reads". I've seen more than a couple. I've also seen a lot of uninspired, lazy running. Sorry I can't point out exact plays for you to look at. I don't have recordings of the games. All I know is I watch the games and I know what I see. And it's not like it's just me and a handful of posters here saying that.

Look, I'm in no way saying the OL/scheme/playcalling are all less to blame than CJ. I just think it's borderline insane to suggest CJ couldn't be doing more.

You do realize that we really didnt pay him that much money and that he's not really hurting us that bad salary cap wise being that we are so much under the cap. We could still spend money on a good oline but our coaches refuse because their too dang stubborn!

Sure you can. You just don't want to. It's extremely naive to think a supposed "professional" football player can't change the way they approach the game. Even Munchak himself has said that CJ needs to quit looking for the home run everytime and just take the couple yards that's there.
I have a feeling even then you wouldn't blame him. But okay.
I never said he's purposefully missing holes. I just think his decision-making sucks. And I've never suggested he had holes to get 10-15 yards out of. But he has had several that should've been bigger gains than what he got. Even runs of 2-3 yards add up a lot quicker than runs of -2 and 0.

As I said in my previous post to Kaeotik, it's not like it's just us "CJ Haters" that are pointing out these flaws in his game. I've heard lots of former players and writers/analysts that I really respect say the exact same things. But I guess they're just haters too. Or just don't know the game as well as some of the posters here.

NO! All you see is what your one sided brain wants you to see. Your bias against CJ right now and regardless if he puts up 150 yards this weekend you will say we'll if he wouldnt have hesitated so much that he could have got 170 haha. People like you are a joke!
