CJ says he’s not to blame for rushing woes

    Why does it matter? The Offensive Line sucked last year, thats why we got new players. It still sucks this year. So we've had a terrible offensive line the past 2 seasons and I'm just using stats to prove it.

    They aren't!!! CJ's stats are bad/mediocre the last 2 seasons, but Ringer and Harper's stats are PATHETIC!!

    I'm pretty confident, and I think you are too, that Ringer and Harper are better than a 2.8 YPC AVG combined, if only they had a decent offensive line to prove it..

    Exactly.

    That's what a lot of the CJ defenders completely ignore. People are down on him because of his attitude just as much, if not more, than they are because of his piss-poor performance.

    It's not like I don't want to like CJ. It's just that he's done a lot of things over the past year plus to turn me off. If you think CJ does himself many favors from a PR standpoint, then you truly are living on another planet.

    I don't think that proves anything. We all know he's been hit behind the line. No one is trying to say all this is on CJ. But here's why that stat is misleading:

    CJ has one carry of five yards in the first game and seven in the second. On the seven-yard carry, he broke a tackle close to the LOS. Meaning, he picked up 5-6 yards after contact. Due to the limited amount of carries, it pumps up the average of yards after contact.

    It also means that, if you remove those two carries, he has only nine yards on his other 17 carries or a .5 ypc average.

    CJ doesn't care if fans give him crap...And I don't care if CJ has an attitude problem. I just know its time to point fingers and I hope the offensive line feels embarrassed.
