No point in repostingn what I've already stated.. Let us just say that you will see FAR less duncecap moments in Homeland than Dexter, which is a show that could easily move the story forward without endless redundant conveniences.

On that we are agreed, FOR NOW.

It is Showtime, there is plenty of time left for Homeland to delve into the idiocy that has plagued Dexter.

So last night's episode of Homeland...

Do you find it believable that they would use someone as important as a potential VP to do grunt work? And no big deal with him killing someone in the woods and then just washing blood off at a car wash? And missing a huge speech with upper military and the current VP in attendance? And his wife's speech which seemed ominous about hidden problems about Brody at home?

I would also guess Brody is going to be taken down in the next few episodes since he's clearly caught red-handed at this point. Not really because it is a TV show so I'm sure they'll do something to drag it out.

Still was a fun episode and I like the show.

We don't know the repercussions of Brody's indiscretions at this point.
He did a bunch of stuff that was probably witnessed and will come into play soon enough.
Bottom line is that they have his video, but no proof he's done anything other than say some words. I think the rest of the season will be them trying to play him into coughing up Nazir..
And Claire Danes puts on an acting exhibition yet again last night.
I'm all in on this one..

Well they could never charge him and just release the video and his public career is destroyed. Probably the most prudent thing to do as you don't want to f around about a potential VP being a terrorist.

Claire Danes does give a great performance. And Morena Baccarin is almost hotter now than 10 years ago on Firefly. That woman is amazing.

Is season 1 worth the hassle of downloading the episodes? I've never seen this show and generally don't like dramas.

I'd say yes but it is all a matter of your free time.

Cruds would say HELL F'n YES!!!

Certainly wouldn't hurt to try the first episode or two. If nothing else you get to see Morena Baccarin in the buff.

I'll eventually get around to Homeland. I have Showtime now and can watch all episodes of the series from my laptop (assuming it's the same as Dexter).

I thought this last episode of Dexter was pretty good... it's definitely going better than the last couple of seasons.

Wow. 2 episodes into season 1 and I am already really liking it. Can't wait to see more.
