We need a guy like Laron Landry...

There's also some middle linebackers(if we were to switch to 34):
    Brian Urlacher
    Ray Mauluga
    James Laurinitas

I literally see no good interior lineman in free agency...

Let's switch to the 34, sign Urlacher and Landry, and address NT, G, C, RB in the first 3 rounds

    Casey/Klug Star Martin/Morgan
    Ayers/Z Brown Urlacher McCarthy Wimbley/Brown
    Mccourty Verner
    Landry Griffin

Not only would our defense be beast, but we would also have an effective O-line to put on the field...

    Agreed.

Also, why are so many of you leaving Zach Brown out of your lineups? I've been very impressed with him and I'm super excited about his future. For a guy that was said to be such a raw player and a project he's coming along quite nicely IMO.

I think everyone every year that is somewhat a draftnik get blown away by a single prospect and just back the prospect full fledge

This year... At this point.... I'm seeing a 1st round riser in Ezekiel "Ziggy" Ansah.

6'6 - 270 lber. Was a track runner before he started football. Has a long frame but a thick powerful lower body. Dude has awesome speed and also plays the ball. Plays all over the D line. NT, DE. And will also drop back as a LB at times.

I hate to reference other players and say "he could be" but with his size and frame... JPP? I don't think his reach is that long tho. Extremely gifted athlete of that freak nature that is JPP.

This is my new draft. I've held all along that we will not end up with a top 5 pick, in fact, I think we'll draft somewhere between 9-12. That being said this is my draft. I think we can still make the 3-4 switch with this draft even though we'd be loading up on safeties.

Free agent signings: Jared Cook, TE. Todd McClure, C. Braden Albert, G/T (kick him back to his original position of guard). We have tons of money and by cutting Wiffin we'll have even more, we could get this done. Oh, and let Leroy Harris finally walk, thank god!

1st - Manti Te'o, ILB, Notre Dame: Best pure football player in the draft to me. Plays inside next to McCarthy in the 3-4 allowing Ayers to kick outside with Wimbley.

2nd - Bacarri Rambo, S Georgia- Bye Bye Wiffin... frees up a ton of money because we need to throw big money at a center in free agency, or perhaps a Dashon Goldson.

3rd - Matt Elam, S, Florida: Love this guy on film, just makes plays all over and always seems to be where he is suppose to be.

4th - Kwame Geathers, DT, Georgia: Big body with good athleticism to anchor the nose.

5th - Walter Stewart, OLB, Cincinnati: Underrated 3-4 rush backer, tons of upside.

6th - Miguel Maysonet, RB, Stony Brook: Reminds me a bit of Ray Rice, and with the departure likely departure of Ringer he could be our backup right away.

7th - Sam Schwartzstein, C, Stanford: Underrated center, undersized and pretty mobile... good for the zone scheme. More of a depth pick, this assumes we'd grab a great center in free agency.

    ------CB-Verner-----------SS-Rambo--------------------------FS-Elam----------------CB-McCourtey-------

    -----------OLB-Wimbley--------------LB-Te'o--------------LB-McCarthy--------------OLB-Ayers-------------

    --------------DE-Casey--------------------NT-Geathers--------------------DE-Martin/Morgan?--------------

Not saying that we'd actually be starting four rookies, but this is what our lineup could look like. Lets be honest, it seems this team is not afraid of starting rookies on defense.

I agree... the only way I see DT is if Stars on the board. If not DE should be our first round pick.

    Oh, and let
Laurinitis isn't a FA, he resigned already. Rey Mauluga is overrated. Why in the HELL would Urlacher leave Chicago (where he is a legend and they want to keep him) to play for the Titans. You guys have to be real... there's a 0% chance we sign Urlacher.
